Terms of Service

1. About DocketPH

DocketPH is case management software for Philippine law firms and legal practitioners. It lets a workspace keep clients, matters, hearings, documents, comments, and a history of what changed — so the firm can collaborate on the file and close it.

DocketPH is a product of Jeva Technologies OPC, a One Person Corporation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration No. 2025070211232-01 ("we", "us", "our", "Company").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DocketPH, including the website at docket.ph and the workspace at app.docket.ph (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Are capable of entering into a binding agreement under Philippine law
• Are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law or regulation

If you are using the Service on behalf of a firm or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register with an email address and password, or with Google sign-in where we offer it. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password secure and confidential, and not share your sign-in credentials
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Workspaces and team access

The Service is organized around workspaces (also called accounts). A workspace holds the firm's clients, boards, matters, files, comments, and history. Workspace owners and admins may invite teammates by email and assign roles.

You agree that:

• You will invite only people who are authorized to see the workspace's client and matter records
• Owners and admins are responsible for managing seats, roles, and access, including removing people who should no longer see the file
• Anyone you invite can see workspace content according to their role, including client names, matter details, documents, and comments
• You are responsible for activity taken by members of workspaces you own or administer

5. Permitted use

DocketPH is intended for professional case management by lawyers, firms, and their authorized staff. You may use the Service to:

• Docket and track matters, clients, hearings, and deadlines for your practice
• Store documents and notes that belong on the file
• Collaborate with authorized teammates on a shared record

You represent that you have the legal right and any required client authority to store and process the information you put in the Service, including personal data of clients, opposing parties, and other individuals.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Philippine or international law
• Access another workspace, account, or file without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Circumvent authentication, access controls, or other technical controls
• Transmit malicious code, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise interfere with the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing case-management product by systematically extracting our software, design, or documentation
• Share workspace access with people who are not authorized to see the firm's client files
• Represent that DocketPH or Jeva Technologies OPC is your law firm, provides legal advice, or appears as counsel on a matter

7. Not a law firm; not legal advice

Jeva Technologies OPC is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. DocketPH is practice-management software. It does not form an attorney-client relationship between you and us.

Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, or a substitute for professional judgment. Hearings, deadlines, board columns, and other records in the Service are tools for your docket. You remain responsible for court rules, filings, and the conduct of each matter.

You agree not to rely on the Service as the sole basis for any legal decision, filing, or action.

8. Your content and confidentiality

You (or your firm) retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including client records, matter details, notes, comments, and uploaded files ("Workspace Content").

By submitting Workspace Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and otherwise process that content solely to provide the Service to your workspace — including backups, security, notifications, and displaying the record to authorized members. We do not sell Workspace Content. We do not use Workspace Content to train AI models.

The attorney-client privilege, work-product protection, and any duty of confidentiality remain with you and your firm. We process Workspace Content as a service provider so you can run the docket. You are responsible for:

• Deciding what belongs in the workspace and who may see it
• Obtaining any consent or legal basis required to store client and third-party personal data
• Complying with the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability and other professional rules that apply to you

9. Intellectual property

DocketPH platform

The DocketPH platform, including its software, design, and user interface, is owned by Jeva Technologies OPC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the platform without our written consent.

Your content

Except for the limited license in section 8, we claim no ownership of Workspace Content. Your firm's names, case files, and documents remain yours.

10. Plans and payments

We may offer the Service at no charge, under usage limits (including boards, seats, or storage), or under paid plans we publish on the website. Current limits and fees are on the pricing page of docket.ph.

If we introduce or change fees, we will give existing subscribers at least 15 days' advance notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing. Fees, if any, are billed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

Failure to pay amounts due may result in suspension or limits on the workspace until payment resumes.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT HEARING DATES, DEADLINES, MATTER STATUS, OR OTHER RECORDS YOU ENTER ARE COMPLETE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL PREVENT A MISSED SETTING OR FILING.

We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. We may perform maintenance that temporarily makes the Service unavailable, with or without prior notice.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE PHILIPPINE LAW, JEVA TECHNOLOGIES OPC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED HEARINGS OR DEADLINES, LOSS OF WORKSPACE CONTENT, OR RELIANCE ON RECORDS KEPT IN THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR PHP 1,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jeva Technologies OPC, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, Workspace Content you submit, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Workspace owners may request closure of a workspace the same way.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

After account or workspace closure, we delete Workspace Content within 30 days, except where we must retain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce these Terms.

Sections 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Cebu City, Philippines.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving written notice.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 15 days before taking effect, and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account before the effective date.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jeva Technologies OPC regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
