Case board

The case board shows where every matter stands.

Philippine firms share one board. Drag a card when the case is filed, set for hearing, or waiting on a decision.

On the board

Read the card, then move it.

01

What a card tells you

One card is one case. It shows the case title, the docket or case number, and the lawyer or staff the case is assigned to.

The color is the next hearing or deadline. Green means more than a week away, yellow means this week, and red means within a day. A glance down a column shows which files need a hand first.

02

Dragging a case to its stage

Pick the card up and drop it on the column the case is in now. When a notice of hearing arrives, the card leaves Filed and lands in Hearing.

The count is how many cases sit in that column. It changes when the card lands: one fewer where it was, one more where it is. Anyone who opens the workspace finds the case in the new column.

03

Columns you can shape

The first board starts with Intake, Filed, Hearing, For Decision, and Closed. Those five stay. They follow an ordinary civil or criminal case.

Add a column for a stage the office already uses, and drag the columns into the order a file takes through the office.

04

A board for each practice group

Another board is for a different practice group or office, not a second copy of the same cases. Free and Starter include one board. Advance includes five.

Find a card from its title, the client, or the number on the pleading. Narrow the board to the person handling the case, or to matters still waiting for someone.
